Austin Kleon's newsletter is one of my favorite Friday reads, and I've held onto this excerpt from last week’s missive like a talisman:

 “The creative moment of a writer comes with the autumn,” wrote Cyril Connelly in An Unquiet Grave. “The winter is the time for reading, revision, preparation of the soil; the spring for thawing back to life; the summer is for the open air, for satiating the body with health and action, but from October to Christmas for the release of mental energy, the hard crown of the year.”

I’m craving this creative moment, but I can’t say I’ve felt it yet this season. But I also know that feeling is through doing—and I look forward to creating this together in our October Slow Flow Studio Session.

Based on feedback and schedules, our live Slow Studio Session gathering will be next Tuesday, October 22 at 1:00pm EDT. We’ll meet via Zoom, and the details are below:
